Dan Goerke
Clerk’s Office
My name is Dan Goerke, the newly elected Clerk of Norvell Township. I have lived in the Township for about 4 years. I grew up in the downriver area of suburban Detroit and was in the army for many years.
The idea of public service is important to me. When I found out that position of Clerk would become available, I decided to seek the office.
I have a degree in accounting and have worked in that field for about 10 years. Thus, I have a good handle on how to do accounting, which is a large part of the Clerk’s responsibilities.
Working the August election was a helpful to learn how they are run. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and becoming proficient running township elections smoothly.

Andrew Haystead
First off it is an honor to represent the people of Norvell Township. I grew up in Norvell, attended Napoleon Schools, and my wife and I are now raising our 4 children on my family’s farm. Between farming and now being a trustee for Norvell Township, I also help coach the Napoleon shooting sports teams at the Napoleon Middle and High School.
I will strive to help make the township the best it can be and encourage others to get involved and voice your concerns or problems.
Paul Francis
I was appointed to the Norvell Township Board on September 13, 2023 to fill an unexpired term, which will end in November of 2024. I served on the Bedford Township Board in Monroe County for sixteen years, first as trustee for 8 years, then as treasurer for 8 years. prior to moving to Norvell Township. My goal as your trustee is to serve all of the residents of Norvell Township, fairly and equally, to the best of my ability. Please feel free to contact me either by phone or email if you have any questions or concerns.
